The Martin D12X1 delivers the rich, shimmering sound of a 12-string acoustic with the comfortable playability and dependable construction Martin players expect. Its full-size dreadnought body provides plenty of volume and projection, making it an excellent choice for adding depth and texture to rhythm playing, songwriting, and acoustic performances.
Designed to produce the broad, naturally chorused sound that makes a 12-string so distinctive, the D12X1 offers strong bass response, clear highs, and a full, spacious character. Whether you’re playing open chords, adding texture to a band arrangement, or accompanying vocals, its doubled strings create a lush sound that fills the room.
As part of Martin’s X Series, the D12X1 combines traditional Martin design with durable materials built to handle regular playing and performance. Its comfortable neck and playable feel help make the transition to a 12-string approachable while still providing the powerful acoustic voice players expect from a Martin dreadnought.
For musicians looking to add the unmistakable sparkle and fullness of a 12-string to their collection, the Martin D12X1 offers classic Martin style, impressive projection, and an inspiring sound at an accessible price point.
